Bob Cousy was one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He played for the Boston Celtics from 1950 to 1963 and led them to six NBA championships. Cousy was also a 13-time NBA All-Star and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971.
Cousy was born in New York City in 1928. He began playing basketball at a young age and quickly became one of the best players in the country. He played college basketball at Holy Cross College, where he led the Crusaders to the NCAA championship game in 1947. After graduating from Holy Cross, Cousy was drafted by the Boston Celtics.

Cousy was also a leader on the court, and he helped the Celtics win six NBA championships in eight years. After retiring from basketball, Cousy worked as a coach and broadcaster. He also wrote several books about basketball. Cousy died in 2013 at the age of 85.
